How to Setup Email in eM Client (IMAP)

Follow these step-by-step instructions to configure your standard IMAP/SMTP email account inside eM Client (IMAP). If you want instructions tailored perfectly to your domain name (with the exact servers and ports), please use our generator.

Setup Instructions

  1. Open eM Client.
  2. Tools → Accounts → Add Account.
  3. Select Other → IMAP.
  4. Enter:
  5. - Email address: your-name@example.com
  6. - Display name: Your Name
  7. - Password: Your Password (see magic link)
  8. Click Next.
  9. Manual server settings:
  10. - IMAP server: imap.example.com, port 993, SSL/TLS
  11. - SMTP server: smtp.example.com, port 587, STARTTLS
  12. - Username (both): your-name@example.com
  13. Click Next → Finish.
