Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mail Client Setup (the "Service"), a free tool that looks up email client (IMAP/SMTP/POP3) configuration settings for a domain and generates setup instructions. The Service is operated by Jonkinen Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 6054323, registered office at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Mail Client Setup accepts an email address, derives its domain, and attempts to determine mail server settings for that domain using publicly available methods (Microsoft Autodiscover, Mozilla-style autoconfig, and DNS MX records), cross-referenced against a table of known providers. Results are provided "as is" for convenience and may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. You are responsible for verifying any settings before applying them to a live mail account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• Submit email addresses or domains you do not have the right to look up on behalf of;
• Use automated means to scrape or bulk-query the Service in a way that degrades it for other users;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

3. No Warranty

The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that lookup results will be correct for any given domain.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jonkinen Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including loss arising from reliance on inaccurate configuration settings.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, and underlying software are owned by Jonkinen Ltd, except for third-party trademarks (such as email client and operating system names) referenced solely to identify the relevant setup instructions.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
