This Privacy Policy explains how Jonkinen Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 6054323, registered office at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, handles information when you use Mail Client Setup (the "Service").

1. Email Addresses You Enter

When you submit an email address to look up mail server settings, only the domain part (e.g. "example.com" from "name@example.com") is used to query DNS records and, where applicable, the domain's own autodiscover/autoconfig endpoints. We do not store the email addresses or domains you submit on our servers, and we do not use them for any purpose other than generating your lookup result. For your convenience, your browser temporarily remembers your last lookup (the email address and its result) using your browser's built-in session storage, so it's still there if you navigate to another page and come back. This information stays on your own device, is never sent to us or any third party, and is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab.

2. Analytics & Cookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the Service is used — for example, page views, general location, device type, and how visitors find the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and may process data outside the UK/EEA in accordance with Google's own privacy practices. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them via the cookie banner; you can decline, and you can clear your browser's cookies at any time to withdraw consent. We do not use analytics data to identify you personally.

3. Server Logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and operational purposes. These logs are not used by us to identify individual users.

4. Legal Basis & Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, our legal basis for analytics processing is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). As we do not store the email addresses submitted through the lookup tool, we generally hold no personal data about you beyond what analytics cookies capture (if you consent to them).

5. Third Parties

We use the following third-party services: Vercel (hosting), and, where consented to, Google Analytics (usage analytics). We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
